lebrate our Mothers, Living & dead
Mother's Day is coming, May 9th.
We invite you to join us in a special offering of prayer for our Mothers. We will be praying for our Mother's especially now during this pandemic.
Mothers who are working, home schooling, single parents, cooking, counseling, comforting a loved one, mourning a loss, nursing the sick, assisting elderly neighbors and giving of themselves in an extraordinary way to bring God's grace into these exceptional times.
Please bring in your Mother's Day envelope (Mass Intentions). We will place the names on the Altar for the entire month of May. If you need an envelope, they are available in front of the office and in the back of the Church.
Would you like a copy of a missalette? We will be placing an order for “Today’s Missal” for the period of May 30 through November 27, 2021. The missalette has the readings for Sundays and weekday propers. They are $5.00 a copy, and you may reserve a copy by signing up at the gift shop after Mass or call the church office during the week. Please provide your name, contact info, and how many copies you want. Please place your order by May 10.
The fundraising committee will host a golf tournament this summer to raise money
for the Capital Campaign.
Volunteers are needed to form a committee for planning this fun gathering.
You do NOT have to be a golfer to get involved.
If you are interested, please contact Dot Dorman at 970-586-8652 or email@example.com.

Restoration of the Sunday and Holy Day Obligation in the
Archdiocese of Denver
“There is nothing so great as the Eucharist. If God had something more precious, He would have given it to us.”
~ St. Jean Vianney
The Bishops of Colorado have announced that the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days will be restored on
Pentecost Sunday – May 23, 2021 –
and all Catholics who are healthy and without significant risk factors or other serious reasons should resume normal Mass attendance in the coming weeks.
Catholics are encouraged to use the Easter season to prayerfully contemplate why they are called to Mass every week, and if necessary, educate themselves on the Church’s teachings on the obligation, including acceptable reasons to still stay home. Those reasons include those who are sick, have been exposed to the virus, have serious health risks, or are prevented from attending because of capacity limits at their parish. Parishes will continue to take prudent steps to ensure public Masses are celebrated in a safe manner.
For more information, a statement from the bishops and an FAQ is available on the Archdiocese of Denver website – archden.org.”

Hello Parishioners and friends
An annual fundraiser in our Council is participation in the Estes Park Duck Race. The adoption of ducks provides funds which are earmarked for Seminarian support. The Council is asking for your help this year. A number of factors have resulted in a much smaller number of duck adoptions than we typically see at this time of the year. The Duck Race is virtual this year due to our ongoing Covid-19 battle. Since many folks like to attend the contest along the riverbank, there are fewer donors taking part in this fundraiser, though there are again hundreds of wonderful prizes!! The only way to adopt a duck is online. Again, funds collected are used in direct support of Seminarians. We currently have one Seminarian in our support program, and we are aware of others needing help on their journey toward being Ordained. The link is below connects to the Duck Race adoption page. If you can find a few minutes, will you please adopt a duck this year and enable us to keep a long time Council tradition intact. Click on the link below for the 2021 Duck Adoption page and follow instructions for the ORDER NOW button. Select Knights of Columbus from the Select Charity drop down on the Checkout Form. Thank you again for your ongoing generosity. 2021 Duck Race Adoption Form: https://www.epduckrace.org/adopt-ducks/ Thomas Casey Grand Knight
