Our Lady of the Mountains parish
is one family fed by the Body
of Christ, the Eucharist.
Our mission is to become the image of God to one another through the practice of our faith and offering hospitality to all.
Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the land.
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the clean in heart,
for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Have fun going to Jesus in the maze above!
Double the joy and share with a young one!
June Prayer for Fathers
God the Father of all fathers, in your infinite love and divine wisdom, you invited the human race to participate in what belongs to you. Bless our fathers who have taken the divine vocation of being stewards of life. Strengthen them with your grace that they may love and remain fully present to their children. Guide them to be a role model, give them the spirit of compassion, understanding and the patience to handle all situations with love.
Grant courage to fathers who are struggling in their fatherhood, for fathers who have abandoned or forsaken their divine vocation, may you touch their hearts; for those who have lost a child, console them; for fathers who were denied of Father-Presence in their own childhood, bring joy and healing to their hearts as they give to their own children what was denied.
Oh God, give all human fathers the spirit of accepting their fatherhood as a divine gift and vocation. Amen
Prayers for all women as this Mother's Day month comes to a close.

Capital Campaign News and Notes
With the completion of the sacristy windows project, we now draw attention to replacing the roof.
The Construction Committee selected
EcoStar Aspen Blend
synthetic shake roofing tiles, which comes with a 50 year warranty, is Class A fire-rated, and passes the Town of Estes Park building code for wind resistance. A sample of the tile can be seen in the Office area.
After exhaustive reviewing of proposals from six contractors the Construction Committee selected Mixteriors Roofing, Inc. of Fort Collins.
The contract with Mixteriors has been accepted and material has been ordered.
Here is the timeline for the roof replacement:
Week of July 4 – security fencing will be set up and materials and heavy equipment will be delivered.
Week of July 12 – construction begins
Week of August 16 – estimated completion of the project
Week of August 23 – final inspection and clean-up of the church property
This timeline is subject to change as unforeseen issues may arise and weather may be a factor.
The lower parking area on the east side of the church is the staging area for the project and will be inaccessible for the duration of construction
During the construction period certain entry doors will be unavailable; please follow the signs for entry into the church.
