NEWS FROM OUR PASTOR
Children’s Choir Using our gifts in service of Christ and His Church; Our Lady of the Mountains invites all children and their parents to participate in our new Children’s Choir ministry. We will practice weekly in the choir loft on Sunday after the 10 a.m. Mass and will sing at one Mass a month. All skill levels and interests are welcomed, from singers, to instrumentalists, to clappers.
Contact Adam Thomas at email@example.com.
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Our establishment of a new Children’s Choir is the first step in many steps in giving our children and our youth an ownership to their faith and prepare them to be future leaders in our wonderful parish.
I humbly invite each and every family member of our parish to be open in supporting our children ministry in anyway God allows you to, especially with your endless prayers and positive encouragements.
This children ministry would enhance our parish spiritual life and activities and spiritually empower our children for Christ and His Church.
A special thank you to Deacon Stan and Mr. Adam Thomas for their initiatives and leading this ministry. We will keep you updated on their progress and when they would be ready to start singing and praising God in the sacred liturgy of the Mass.
May you all remain in Christ,
Fr. Faustinus Anyamele

Mary Callowich died on Wednesday, February 6, 2019. Our deepest sympathies to Jim, our long time sacristan and friend, and family.
Larry was born to Lawrence Sr. and Mary (Holly) Wassmer on March 29, 1942 in Paterson, New Jersey. He grew up in Butler, New Jersey graduating from St. Anthony of Padua Elementary School and Butler High School. He married Betty Atkins on May 1, 1965. He re-located his family to Loveland when he was offered a lineman position at the City of Loveland electric department.
Larry enjoyed woodworking especially custom cabinetry, home improvements, reading, rooting for his Green Bay Packers and spending time with his family. Larry had a firm and faithful belief in God, was a practicing Catholic and his mantra was “Family is Everything in Life.” He will be greatly missed by his entire family and those who knew him well. Funeral Mass was Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at St. John the Evangelist in Loveland.
Larry's wife Betty, was a member of OLM for a few years and a volunteer for the parish. Our deepest sympathies to Betty and family.
