"The Great Bible Reef"
Judy Shipman will be our facilitator and is looking for volunteers to be group leaders.
Right now it is tentatively planned for
August 12, 13 & 14th from 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Sessions include a Bible Story, craft, games, snacks and other activities! It would be offered for two groups, the younger group ages 4, 5 & 6 and the older group for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders. Older siblings can participate as helpers and younger ones are welcome to tag-along if parents want to volunteer.
We are curious if your family has an interest in VBS, if you would be willing to help, and if you are available to do it this year. If you are not available this year, but would like to see the parish do this next summer, please let us know!
Contact Gwyn at parish office if interested.
Registration Forms in Office.
Grace & Grub
July 8 at 5 p.m.
Upper Beaver Meadows Picnic Area
If you've never been to
"Grace and Grub"
before, plan to join us this month. We'll be roasting hot dogs and will have all the fixings. You bring a side dish to share and drinks for your family, and we'll have the tableware and silverware. We start at 5:00 and usually are finished by 7 p.m. Come get to know other members of our parish, have a bit of grace and fellowship throughout the evening.
All are invited- young, old, single, families, friends, relatives, neighbors, ANYONE and everyone. Please bring your out of town company so they can enjoy the beauty of our National Park. Upper Beaver Meadow is in the National Park and is easily reached through the Beaver Meadows Entrance Station. There is a large picnic area about 1/2 mile from the turnoff on the left. Carpool if you can!
Please rsvp if you can
call Gwyn in the parish office 970-586-8111.
If you forget, come anyway. There is always

Core of Volunteers
Hearts to God
Hands to Work
Our Lady of the Mountains
needs your help.
OLM needs the talents with which you have been blessed.
I am seeking to develop a list of parishioners with specific
occupational skills, experiences, opinions, or expertise
that might benefit OLM.
I would like to be able to consult
with you when the need arises.
If you have experience in construction, plumbing, HVAC,
electronics, computer sciences/IT, landscaping, sewing,
cleaning, painting, general maintenance, knowledge of audio visual or another
specialty area, please call Gwyn at the parish office 970.586.8111
to be included on my list of available talents.
This initiative will help us as a parish in our act of
Stewardship and manage our resources.
May God bless you.
Our Lady of the Mountains will be making
a calendar unique for our parish only.
This will include dates of Holy Days,
Religious Education, and Youth Group.
Do you have some photos of OLM
that you would like to see in the calendar?
Do you have some design skills
you would like to share?
Give the parish a call 970.586.8111

ORIGINAL OLIVE WOOD HANDICRAFTS FROM BETHLEHEM
July 6th & 7th after all Masses
Olive Wood Statues: Jesus, Virgin Mary, Holy Family, Angels & Saints Nativity Scenes - Christmas Ornaments - Crosses and Crucifixes Rosaries & Bracelets - Kitchen Utensils - Church Supplies -Wall Hangings & more! Bethlehem Handicrafts will be at our church presenting Holy figurines from Christian hands thousands of miles away to your hands, so that a piece of the Holy Land may bring joy
and love to your homes.
The Bannoura family, some of whom are the artists in Bethlehem, have been blessed to be able to present the work of those 1% Christians to our Parish.
Grace your home with handcrafted quality olive wood crafts, meticulously and patiently crafted by Christians from the Holy Land. The hands do the labor, but the texture and color of the grains convey a mellow intrinsic tone.
This art is considered the bread and butter to hundreds of Christian families in the Holy Land and is very beneficial to the existence of the one % Christian minority in the region, a bracket of society who have weathered the storm to remain as the guardians and pillars of the Holy sites.

A BEAUTIFUL WAY TO PRAY FOR
THE GRACE OF SERVANTHOOD
Purchase this six to seven day blessed candle from our gift shop for $15.
This candle with the OLM prayer on each side of our lovely stained glass window picture, one side in English and the other in Spanish is a wonderful way
to encourage both praying for the grace of servanthood and support to our church.
A great way to donate to our church including our Capital Campaign cause.
